Our board of executive officers may comprise up to five members elected for two-year terms and re-election is permitted. The board of executive officers is responsible for the management of our business and our day-to-day operations. Our board of executive officers has the power to perform all acts necessary in the ordinary course of business to conduct our operations, except for those that by statute or the bylaws are exclusive to the shareholders or our board of directors.

Mr. Tulio Queiroz has almost 20 years of experience in the retail sector, with extensive knowledge on topics such as Management Methodology, Capital Structure, Governance, Financial Products and Services, among others. He holds a degree in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EAESP), with an MBA from FIA. Before joining the Company’s Executive Board, he served as Chief Financial and Management Officer of the Guararapes-Riachuelo Group, also accumulating the role of Investor Relations Officer and the position of Chief Executive Officer of Midway Financeira.

Mr. Ilton is an executive officer at Eletro Mateus. He did not complete high school and started to work with us in 1997, when we decided to invest in the electronics segment. He was responsible for the implementation of the Eletro Mateus chain. Mr. Ilton does not hold equity interest in companies of our group. He is responsible for the entire management of the electronics segment, taking care of all aspects, from the choice of store locations to the portfolio of products.
